The Partnership advises on ship finance, registration and compliance regulations in Nigeria and conducts admiralty litigation and shipping claims at the Federal High Court.
The Consortium also advises on aviation finance and registration. Currently, one of the members of the Partnership is involved in the negotiation and structuring of a financing package by Afro Exim Bank of Cairo and an international bank in Europe and a Nigerian Air Charter client company for the purchase of aircraft from Raytheon Inc. of the United States. One of the members also recently concluded an admiralty matter relating to the liabilities of a consignee of goods by way of security as Counsel to a leading Nigerian Bank. Another Partner was involved in the public hearing on Nigeria Airways/ Air Nigeria/ FGN/Airwing/Aerospace Joint Venture as counsel to the Hon. Minister of Aviation.
Also a member of the partnership acted as solicitor to the HON. MINISTER OF AVIATION & two other government agencies in SUIT NO FHC/ABJ/CS/243/02 : AERO CONTRACTORS OF NIGERIA LTD & 3 ORS V HON. MINISTER OF AVIATION & 2 ORS over the use of the Port Harcourt Air Force Air field for commercial airline operations.
